Moog has finally announced their latest synthesizer, “Messenger.” According to various sources and rumours, this synth is expected to be budget-friendly gear. Let’s dive into the details for more information.
Just an hour ago, Moog released a YouTube video titled “Arrival of the Messenger.” In this video, they unveiled their new logo and introduced the rumoured synthesizer named “Messenger.” On May 1, they shared a visualizer featuring their new logo and theme. Interestingly, they have deleted or archived all of their old posts. Today, they officially announced the Messenger, which is said to be a budget-friendly synthesizer that will replace the discontinued Moog Sub 25.
In terms of appearance, the Messenger seems to be a mixture of plastic and metal, featuring a plastic bottom and a metal upper part. It includes various connections such as audio output, headphone jack, external input, sustain, expression, and almost all the ports you would expect in a synthesizer. Additionally, it has a 16-step sequencer, numerous knobs, and a keyboard. This device is described as a monosynth, and many Reddit users are comparing it to the Bass Station 3 and some to the Sub 25.

However, this information is primarily speculation from music enthusiasts and Reddit users. We will need to wait for official details from Moog for confirmation.
