Skrillex made a powerful comeback at Ultra Music Festival, debuting a fresh look while delivering the same electrifying energy that captivated fans in 2015.
This time, he decided to play unreleased music, starting with Nitepunk as his opening track for 2025. He performed and remixed his popular solo tracks, such as “Bangerang,” along with collaborations with Fred Again and Jack Ü. To enhance Skrillex’s incredible stage presence, he brought out British grime MC and Flowdan, reggae artist Damian Marley to perform their legendary track “Make It Bun Dem,” and Puerto Rican rapper Young Miko.
In addition to Skrillex, many renowned DJs, including Knife Party, Carl Cox, Hardwell, Kshmr, Gesaffelstein, Deadmau5, and others, also took the stage. However, Skrillex stole the spotlight. One of the most powerful moments was his tribute to Avicii, where he added a bass-heavy spin to “Levels,” creating an atmosphere filled with nostalgia and intensity. Skrillex closed with a mashup of “We Are Your Friends” and “Turn Off the Lights”. From start to finish, the set was eclectic, emotional, and electric, reaffirming why he is regarded as one of the greatest figures in dance music. Ultra Day Two will undoubtedly be remembered as a night full of energy and nostalgia. Almost all the DJs have released their sets from Ultra Miami 2025, and fans are eagerly awaiting the upload of Skrillex’s set from the festival.
