Swedish House Mafia, with a remarkable career, is now set to begin a new chapter by launching a record and lifestyle brand.
On April 18th, Swedish House Mafia announced that they are going independent and launching a new label called “Superhuman”. When the group first returned to the stage following their hiatus in 2018, progress seemed slow. It wasn’t until 2021 that they gained momentum, releasing new music and their debut album and embarking on a world tour. Now, they are beginning a new chapter with the launch of Superhuman, a record label and lifestyle brand that will showcase the work of the group, as well as members Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello. They also announced that the labels “Skip” and “Flood,” which were previously released through another label, will now be under Superhuman moving forward.
The announcement was made on social media, featuring the word “SUPERHUMAN” displayed against a white background, accompanied by the phrase “OUR NEW HOME” and a link to a website below. When fans visit www.superhuman.music, they are greeted with several pages, starting with a timeline that highlights Ingrosso’s recent single, “Flood,” and its music video, along with hints about an upcoming project that has few details available. Additionally, the site provides information about live events for all Swedish House Mafia members, and a store is set to open in the future.
