Skrillex Drops a Surprise Drumless Dubstep EP “Kora”

Skrillex returns with a three-track EP, “Kora”, on his birthday, but this time with a little twist that might spark a new dubstep era.

Skrillex is known for breaking rules, and this time, he has done something different that will shape the future of dubstep, as well as the bass music world. In his latest three-track EP “Kora”, Skrillex introduces drumless dubstep. Yes! Drumless Dubstep is now officially part of the conversation in the community.

The EP is a surprise drop by Skrillex on his 38th birthday. It includes three tracks: Yo Yan with Sacred Family, Someone Said & Kora with Varg2tm, Eurohead, Whitearmor, Swedm & Siickbrain. Released on Oswala/Atlantic Recording, this EP leans towards a more experimental vibe rather than a straightforward mainstream drop.

According to a Reddit user, Kora, the main track uses re-recorded lyrics from Lustbug, which is an old track by Sonny himself. All the tracks are short and on point, including the intro track “Yo Yan” with Sacred Family. Now, the question arises: who is this mysterious artist with no background or tracklist on Spotify, as well as all other social media platforms?
